How do I configure a mail client?

The eCompanies mail service allows you to connect an email client like Outlook, thunderbird, your iphone etc using either POP3 or IMAP. Depending on which method you use you will need to configure your mail client with the following settings:

Incoming

Pop Settings

Server name: pop3.ecdomains.com.au
User Name: Your full email address
Port: 995
Connection Security: SSL/TLS
Authentication Method: Encrypted Password
Password: The password you entered when creating the email

IMAP Settings

Server name: imap.ecdomains.com.au
User Name: Your full email address
Port: 993
Connection Security: SSL/TLS
Authentication Method: Encrypted Password
Password: The password you entered when creating the email

Outgoing

SMTP Settings

Server name: smtp.ecdomains.com.au
User Name: Your full email address
Port: 465
Connection Security: SSL/TLS
Authentication Method: Encrypted Password
Password: The password you entered when creating the email

MX Record, A Record, CNAME Record, TXT Record, Google Site Verification
