All ASIC fees are GST free and get indexed every year on the 1st of July.
ASIC charge $506 to register a proprietary company.
Please Note - While registration directly with ASIC is possible, it is not recommended as they do not provide you with your company register documentation which you need to be compliant. Processing time is also a few business days, unless you lodge the paper form over the counter at your nearest ASIC office.
If you aren't quite ready to register a company you can reserve a company name with ASIC for $51. The reservation period lasts 2 months and can be extended for a further 2 months before the expiry date.
On the anniversary date of the registration of a company, ASIC charge an annual fee of $254 for a standard proprietary company. Special purpose companies have an annual fee of $48.
Annual fees are paid directly to ASIC.
